
So if you know me well you have probably heard me say something along the lines of "S&box is gonna change everything." and you may be wondering why I think a game with literal sausage people as its default playermodel and has more bugs than you can shake a stick at, can change gaming. Well, I think this for a number of reasons. For one, we rarely get games like s&box. The best example I can think of a "s&box type game" is Roblox. Roblox is good for some people, but is limiting if you want to actually... wanna make a decent game. What I mean by that is, you can only get so far with an engine that was made in 2009 and lua. This is where s&box can provide, giving a more profesional game development experience, and potentialy putting your games on steam. With s&box, you buy into the potential rather than what is actually there currently. You also have access to a large library of assets from the community, for free. Speaking of the community, there are tons of people willing to help you with game development and guide you through these struggles. But Roblox is no diffrent in these aspects so heres why I perfer s&box, Source 2 has a REALLY easy to use toolset to make AAA quality games, something that you can't do easily withs Roblox. You don't see games like this made in Roblox:



No harm to ya if you like Roblox, but this is PEAK gaming power. All jokes aside, that is why I enjoy s&box and less so Roblox.
